Once the poop is in its biodegradable bags we take the waste to the compost area of the land fill

Can you service my yard less often than once per week?

We do offer service every other week. Please understand that the accumulation of waste over that period can be large, so we use a "one-time" scoop fee.  Its really more economical for the customer to have a weekly service instead.

Do you service yards more often than once per week?

SURE!  We offer twice a week service on either Mondays and Thursdays, Tuesdays and Fridays, or Mondays and Fridays depending on your location. We are willing to make accommodations when possible on the fee schedule, but realize that if we have to make a special trip then we will have to charge double the normal weekly rate.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No.  We dont have a contract, but we do request payment a month in advance.  We just ask for notice so we know your intentions if you plan to stop service.

What do you do about locked gates?

We prefer not to carry a key ring for lock keys. If you have a code or combination lock, we can keep the access number on our route sheet for reference.  If you need to, we can "loan" you a combination lock which allows us to have access with out a chance of loosing the key.

Do you work if its raining?

Yes, we work in all weather. Occasionally, due to ice, snow, or unusually heavy rains or dangerous weather, we may be unable to make your regularly scheduled pick-up. If this happens, we will reschedule as soon as possible.

If I'm paying $8.50 per week, then why does my invoice read $36.83?

We average the weekly cost over the entire year so the monthly invoice amount is always the same regardless of how many times we scoop during the month.

Do you lock and close the gate?

ABSOLUTELY!  We close every gate we go through as a run away dog is the last thing we would ever want!

Our dog is an escape artist and loves to run. Is this a problem?

Not normally. We always are aware of the dogs in the yard as we are entering and exiting. Also we always carry our tools with us which generally makes the dogs keep their distance. The tools also help to fill the voids between our bodies and the gate discouraging even the quickest dogs from trying to make a "break-for-it".

I have a scary dog. Will you still scoop my yard?

Yes. Part of the reason we like to meet you AND your dog on the first scoop session is just for reasons like this.  In most cases we can make friends with the dog while you are there and not have any further problems. If we continually have problems, then we will ask you to either leave the dog in the house while we scoop or make similar arrangements to help avoid a bite.

Do you use anything like pepper spray or mace?

No. We only carry dog biscuits with us. We find that it is usually easier to earn a dog’s friendship through his stomach.

Do I have to pay if I go on vacation?

Not if you take the dogs with you or board them. All we ask is that you contact us before your vacation so we know not to arrive to an "empty yard", and we will credit you the deferred weeks

Is my scooping day ever going to change?

Yes.  As we grow and expand we will need to periodically move your pick-up day to optimize our use of personnel and equipment. We will notify you at least one week before the change takes effect. We appreciate your understanding about these changes and we will try not to change your pick-up day any more than is absolutely necessary.

I don’t mow my yard every week. Is this a problem?

In truth it can be.  While we strive to provide the best service possible, but we are only able to clean up what we can see. If the yard is overgrown, covered in leaves, or pine straw we might have some trouble finding all those little hidden treasures. Please assist our search so we can keep your yard as clean as possible.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, there are no contracts for individual home owners, but we do prefer that you finish the current month’s service if possible.

Why are one-time scooping prices higher?

Due to the fact that one-time scoops tend to be for very dirty yards, and in the long term our main focus is on recurring business.  We do have a graduated price scale for One-Time scoop service.
